Dmitry has been working at Microsoft for 13 years, out of which 10 years in Technical Evangelism. He has personally performed more than 20 hackathons throughout Russia, twice appeared on stage with Steve Ballmer, and created one of most popular online courses on C# and F# in Russian. During the last 2 years he has been working in CSE as Software Engineer specializing in AI/ML, and did a few projects with customers in Europe on complex event detection in videos. He loves functional programming and F#, and is the primary developer of mPyPl Python library, which makes Python development less painful by introducing functional data pipelines. In his spare time, he teaches courses on Functional Programming and AI in universities, and tries to get his 15-years-old daughter interested in programming and science art.
