How to protect the oceans with AI and Open Source?

Surfrider Foundation Europe NGO has become a reference in the fight for the protection of the ocean. Unexpectedly, this fight starts in the rivers.

During this session, we'll see how a group of volunteers helped them to scale their efforts through AI and Open Source. We'll see how we quickly prototyped if AI can be relevant in their use case, how we organized ourselves to create an labelling an AI platform and what are our next steps.
